Pirate music filled the air on the morning of Monday, December 13, as lucky guests arrived at the Pirates Fans First event at the Disneyland Resort. Winners of the KIIS radio promotion were treated to the very first screening of the brand new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth installment in Walt Disney Pictures multi-billion dollar franchise. The trailer made its global debut later in the day on Yahoo! Movies.

After arriving, guests treated to commemorative t-shirts. Disneyland’s own pirate crew was on hand for some pre-dawn revelry. Guests in pirate costume were given special attention.

The screening itself took place in the Downtown Disney AMC theatre. The trailer was presented in Disney Digital 3D. KIIS morning host Ryan Seacrest was live via telephone. Director Rob Marshall was live in the theater, and shared stories about filming On Stranger Tides, as well as the film itself.

After presenting the trailer (twice!) to the appreciative crowd, all sere invited to Disneyland Park for an early morning cruise on the attraction that started it all. But first the crew was required to take the Pirate Oath, delivered from the deck of the sailing ship Columbia.

The morning wound down with entertainment and a buffet breakfast in the Festival Arena. As guests departed they were presented with a Pirate pin to remember a very memorable morning.
