Iron Man 3 at Disney's El Capitan Theatre Including the Iron Man Marathon on May 2
Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theatre is thrilled to present Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” from May 3 through June 19, 2013, featuring special screenings, including a “Marvel Marathon” and a Midnight screening on May 2nd, as announced today by Lylle Breier, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Special Events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
The “Marvel Marathon” will begin at 12:00 noon on Thursday May 2nd, and feature back-to-back screenings of “Iron Man,” “Iron Man 2,” “Marvel’s The Avengers,” and “Iron Man 3”. Tickets will be available for sale at www.elcapitantickets.com or by calling 1(800) DISNEY6. The Marathon will include all 4 films, a special credential, a sandwich provided by Subway®, a beverage provided by Coca-Cola, an ice cream treat provided by Nestlé plus surprises and giveaways all for just $35.00!
Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” will also have a special Midnight Screening for the public, with costume contest, prizes, and giveaways, a pair of Special Edition RealD 3D glasses, on Thursday, May 2 at 12:00 am.
The El Capitan Theatre will offer guests a peek into the private collection of Stan Lee, legendary writer of Marvel Comics from May 3rd – June 19th. This exclusive display includes rare comic books and an array of collectibles that Lee has acquired throughout his storied career.
El Capitan guests can also take their picture with the Tony Stark wax figure from Madame Tussauds Hollywood. In addition, the Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” Inventor and Innovator Fair will be on display throughout the engagement, featuring 12 nationwide finalists’ innovative and inventive projects based on themes from Marvel’s “Iron Man 3.” The winner will be announced May 3rd at the 4:30pm show.

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds.
