MUPPET MOBILE LAB/LIVING CHARACTERS INITIATIVE
A humorous interlude followed, as Grier introduced Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, aboard the Muppet Mobile Lab. There followed a demonstration of WDI’s Living Character Initiative. Dr. Honeydew promised either their first brake test, or crash test. After the usual chaos ensued, it was up to Tom Fitzgerald of WDI to sort things out and continue the presentation.

TOY STORY MANIA
Once the Muppet Mobile Lab was safely off the stage, Fitzgerald went on to share what’s next from WDI. In this case, that was Toy Story Mania, a new attraction set to debut in 2008.

The eagerly anticipated new adventure is already under construction in Disney’s California Adventure, and will simultaneously debut at the Disney-MGM Studios in Walt Disney World.

Guests entering the attraction will encounter a larger than life Mr. Potato Head, who will interact with guests in his own inimitable manner. Inside, ride vehicles will carry players through a series of classic Midway carnival games. These games, however, will feature the high touch of Pixar characters, and the high tech of WDI.

There will be target shooting with the Green Army Men…

Hamm’s Egg Toss…

Bo Peep’s Baahloon Burst…

…and the Little Green Men’s Ring Toss.
