The 13th 2006 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
April 21 - June 11, 2006

The 2006 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival will focus on romance with Disney Topiary Couples.

Donald Duck and Daisy Duck "tunnel of love" topiary will greet guests as they enter Epcot during the Flower & Garden Festival from April 21 through June 11. This year's festival focuses on romance with topiaries featuring Cinderella and Prince Charming as they "waltz" through blossoms and greenery. 50 hearts -- some floral, some not -- are hidden throughout the festival landscaping. Guests can get tips for finding the hearts when they stop by the Festival Center.

The Festival Center hosts various gardening presentations from a variety of presenters including HGTV personalities and Disney's own horticulturists. Guests can also purchase event related merchandise at the Festival Center.

Throughout the festival's run, each weekend will feature special themes with events and activities including special activities for children. And each evening the sounds of the Flower Power Concert series rock the World Showcase.

Other highlights will include:

• Minnie's Magnificent Butterfly Garden - back for a second year. It features hundreds of butterflies in a screened, walk-through enclosure and a live exhibit showing how caterpillars form a chrysalis and emerge as butterflies.

• Featured weekends include the child-friendly "I Dig Bugs" weekend, "Art in the Garden" weekend and the "Mother's Day" weekend.

• The Great American Gardeners series opening with HGTV's Paul James April 21-23

• The "see and sniff" Fragrance Garden at the France Pavilion showcasing flowers in several perfumes. Complimentary 20 minute tour with a Guerlain Representative at 2p, 4p & 6p. Sign-up at La Signature.

• Disney Gardening at Home presentations with Disney horticulturists sharing tips for at-home gardening (Monday - Thursday, 11a &2p)

• Kid's activities including Tinker Bell's Fairy Garden and Disney character meet and greets

• Daily ladybug release at 1p & 3p

The Flower and Garden Festival is included as a regular part of Epcot admission.
