Disney Parks Easter Egg Hunt

In 2013 as part of the Limited Time Magic, Epcot and Disney California Adventure started an Egg Hunt where guest would venture around the World Showcase  and Disney California Adventure with a map and stickers (extra cost) to locate large size eggs and then place the character egg sticker on the map. After finding all 12 eggs you would show your map at the redemption location and receive a vinylmation keychain.

Jump to 2014, Egg hunt is back with a similar map and stickers but the prize is one of 6 small replica character eggs. This time, they added Disneyland Park to the fun. It has proven very popular, with the Disneyland edition being sold-out when we tried to participate.

For $4.95 it was a fun way to spend an hour walking the park, plus you get a cute egg prize added to it all. I did see people buying 6 maps and going right into the redemption location just to get the prize eggs (you don’t have to do the hunt if you don’t want to) which is a nice way to put together a EGG cellent collection but I don’t feel as much fun. This event runs only till the 20th of April, but I would be willing to bet it will return next year!
