Meet Entrepreneur Carolyn Rafaelian, CEO of Alex and Ani. She has created this wonderful line of fun costume jewelry which has become hugely popular in the last several years. Alana was fortunate enough to be a Disney Park several weeks ago and got to see the entire line of Alex and Ani bangle bracelets. And more importantly to try them all on. And Alana means ALL of them! These are available in two metals, Rafaelian gold finish and Rafaelian silver finish. Yes that name should be familiar. It is the last name of the creator of the company. How fabulous to be able to create and name a metal after yourself! These are priced very reasonably at $40.00 and make a great keepsake to remember a special Disney trip or to give as gifts to your favorite Disney Fan.These also are made to fit many different size wrists. These are a bangle style bracelet with 5 discs dangling off of it. The largest disc is the character or castle of your choosing and it measures just shy of 3/4 inch in diameter and is placed so it will always stay on top of the bracelet. The other 4 little discs are much smaller and will always stay on the bottom of the bracelet. Love the feel of this! This bracelet is very unique in how it works. It is completely solid so it can’t open up and fall off. There are no hard clasps to fumble with. It takes one hand to be able to work this! Just pull the bracelet until it clicks and then slip it over your hand. Then gently push with your thumb and forefinger and it easily slips into place around your wrist. This will comfortable fit up to an 8.25 inch wrist as long as it slides over your hand.
During the month of June, Disney released a number of bracelets in two waves at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. At Disneyland you have bracelets with the Disneyland Castle, and the old California Adventure logo of Mickey on the Sunwheel. Disney World has a bracelet with Cinderella Castle, Animal Kingdom, Disney Hollywood Studio, and Epcot. And of course there is Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Goofy, Tinkerbell and Princesses! Cinderella, Belle, Aurora and Ariel at both parks.
