The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Walt Disney World has cancelled the 2014 edition of the Festival of the Masters. The annual art event had been held for 38 years. Walt Disney World says the event has been cancelled due to construction related to Downtown Disney’s transformation in to Disney Springs. They did not mention if the event will be returning once construction is complete. the event had been traditionally scheduled in November and predates Downtown Disney itself, going back to the days that the area was called the Disney Village.
