Disney Interactive Commemorates National Bullying Prevention Month

In honor of National Bullying Prevention Month (October), Babble.com is working with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center and Twigtale to help parents better understand and navigate the needs of children who are experiencing bullying.

In a series of articles, Babble bloggers have outlined tips that help parents recognize the signs of bullying and let them know how to respond. We encourage you to help spread awareness for National Bullying Prevention Month by reading and sharing some of these tips:

Today, Babble is also supporting PACER’s Unity Day where children, parents and teachers nationwide are coming together to spread awareness and prevent bullying. To celebrate #UnityDay2014, Babble and PACER worked with the experts at Twigtale to create a customizable book to prevent bullying. The book helps young children understand how to be a good friend and how to assert oneself when not being treated respectfully.  A leading child development expert scripted the easy-to-use template, available on Twigtale.com.  You simply add your own photos and details to create the book personalized to your child. Twigtale will donate a portion of the proceeds to PACER. Receive 15% off your own personalized Twigtale book with special code PACER15 (expires December 31).
