ESPN Announces 2025 Major League Baseball Alt-Cast Schedule

Check out all the additional ways you can enjoy America's favorite pastime with ESPN.

ESPN announced their alt-cast lineup for the 2025 Major League Baseball (MLB) season, which includes eight offerings.

It’s Time to Play Ball:

  • Today, ESPN announced their 2025 MLB season alt-cast schedule.
  • With a total of 8 scheduled alt-casts, this year’s lineup includes six editions of Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition, a statcast-focus version of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, and a special “KidsCast" presentation of the 2025 MLB Little League Classic Presented by New York Life.
  • The alt-casts are available alongside regular game broadcasts.
  • This includes the traditional Sunday Night Baseball, T-Mobile Home Run Derby and MLB Little League Classic Presented by New York Life that will air on ESPN.
  • Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition premiered last year, which reimagined ESPN’s approach to statcast content. This includes the addition of a pitch predictor, metrics for the pitch itself, and avatar-base replays.
  • Kevin Brown, Trevor May, and Mike Petriello host the Statcast alt-cast.
  • Making its debut in 2018, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby: Statcast Edition brings a stat focused execution of the annual Home Run Derby.
  • The KidsCast Edition of 2025 MLB Little League Classic Presented by New York Life will see an all-teenage broadcast team cover the event.
  • These alt-casts will air on ESPN2 and the ESPN App.

    • June 22 at 7PM: Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition: New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies
    • June 29 at 7PM: Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition: Matchup TBD
    • July 14 at 8PM: T-Mobile Home Run Derby: Statcast Edition
    • July 20 at 7PM: Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition: Matchup TBD
    • July 27 at 7PM: Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition: Matchup TBD
    • August 3 at 7PM: Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition: Matchup TBD
    • August 10 at 7PM: Sunday Night Baseball: Statcast Edition: Matchup TBD
    • August 17 at 7PM: MLB Little League Classic Presented by New York Life: KidsCast Edition – Seattle Mariners vs. New York Mets
