The Muses “Are on a Roll” in Show-Stopping Performance of “Zero to Hero” from Disney’s "Hercules”
This thunderous performance promotes the upcoming debut of Disney’s "Hercules” on London’s West End.
Bless my soul, Herc was on a roll! And that’s especially true in this fantastic performance of Zero to Hero from the Hercules soundtrack, advertising the upcoming stage adaptation on London’s West End.
What’s Happening:
- Disney’s Hercules will open on June 24th at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane, with previews set to begin on June 6th.
- To get musical theater fans excited for the England debut of Disney’s newest stage musical, Disney has shared a new video featuring the muses from the West End production belting out the beloved song, “Zero to Hero."
- Featured in the video are Candace Furbert, Sharlene Hector, Brianna Ogunbawo, Malinda Parris and Robin Rose-Li.
- Choreographed and directed by Casey Nicholaw (Disney’s Aladdin), the show also features music and lyrics by Alan Menken and David Zippel – including new songs written specifically for the stage.
- Alongside Luke Brady in the role of Hercules, the cast also includes Mae Ann Jorolan (Meg), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Phil), Stephen Carlile (Hades), Craig Gallivan (Bob), and Lee Zarrett (Charles).
- A brand-new book will be written for the London production by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah.
- This marks the first major English-language show from Disney Theatrical Group since Frozen.
