Disneyland just shared a photo and a behind the scenes video of the King Arthur Carousel, which was completely refurbished during the park’s closure.
What’s Happening:
- When Guests return to Disneyland Park later this month, they will have the opportunity to ride the King Arthur Carousel, an opening day attraction.
- The refurbishment included a brand-new paint job with 14k gold leaf accents.
- Each horse has been hand repainted from a palette of over 30 colors, making each of the 68 horses unique.
- In the video below, fans can hear from Imagineer Kim Irivne, who talks about the new color scheme is a throwback to the way it originally looked in 1955.
- Disneyland will reopen to Guests on April 30th and the park is using a reservation system to manage attendance under state and local guidelines. Click here for more information.
