StarWars.com has previewed the new Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary figures inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Four characters will be included in Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Black Series line and will be available in summer 2021.

What’s Happening:
- Commemorate the first 50 years of Lucasfilm with figures from Star Wars: The Black Series, featuring Star Wars: The Clone Wars-inspired packaging.
- Fans will recall intense moments from the Star Wars Galaxy with these highly poseable, fully articulated 6-inch figures of:
- Anakin Skywalker
- Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Clone Pilot Hawk
- Arc Trooper Echo
- This series of collectibles includes reimagined packaging from the beloved animated series that first appeared with the 3.75-inch figure nearly a decade ago.
- The Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary collectible release marks the first time that Arc Trooper Echo appears in the The Black Series line, and associate product designer Eric Franer is very pleased with this addition.
- StarWars.com spoke with Franer about the characters and designs and he had some great insights and inspirations for the collection.

- Eric Franer on choosing characters for the line: “Obi-Wan and Anakin are [some of] the main characters, so we felt it was very important to bring them into the line, specifically in their clone armor. After considering those two characters, an ARC Trooper Echo was also another pivotal piece for the line.”
- Eric Franer on designing Clone Pilot Hawk: “One thing we wanted to do was make sure that the helmet was the proper size. Since it has such a unique design that can interfere with real world anatomy of a figure, the helmet isn’t removable, but we made sure that the helmet’s scale would stay consistent with the rest of the Black Series line.”
- Eric Franer on making a different sculpt for Anakin’s head: “Our team definitely felt like the portrait was in need of an update, so we decided to take another crack at it for this figure!”
