FX has released the official trailer for the upcoming documentary series PRIDE.
What’s Happening:
- The trailer for the documentary series PRIDE has been released by FX as we are less than a month from the premiere date.
- PRIDE will premiere on Friday, May 14 at 8:00 pm. It will be available the next day to stream on Hulu.
- The six-part docuseries on the fight for LGBTQ civil rights in America, will be produced by Christine Vachon’s Killer Films and Refinery 29.
- Each episode will be directed by a different LGBTQ director and will be executive produced by Vachon, Sydney Foos of Killer Films, and Refinery29’s Amy Emmerich, Stone Roberts, and Alex Stapleton.
- The series was first announced back in August 2019.
About the Documentary:
- PRIDE is a six-part documentary series chronicling the struggle for LGBTQ+ civil rights in America from the 1950s through the 2000s. The limited series spans the FBI surveillance of homosexuals during the 1950s Lavender Scare to the “Culture Wars” of the 1990s and beyond, exploring the queer legacy of the Civil Rights movement and the battle over marriage equality.
