ESPN will be airing a very special “Marvel’s Arena of Heroes” presentation of the NBA matchup between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans tonight, with lots of Marvelous touches added to the game itself. At halftime, Marvel will present a special look at their next upcoming Disney+ series Loki.
- The NBA Special Edition Presented by State Farm: Marvel’s Arena of Heroes presentation will begin at 7:30 PM ET tonight and will air on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
- At halftime, Marvel fans will be treated to a special look at Loki, the next Disney+ original series coming from Marvel Studios on June 11.
- During the game itself, fans will enjoy elements from an original Marvel story and iconic characters including Iron Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Black Widow, and Doctor Strange throughout the live game, including 3D virtual characters, custom graphics and animation packages.
About Loki:
- In Marvel Studios’ Loki, the mercurial villain resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
- Loki of course returns Tom Hiddleston who will reprise his role as the title character.
- Kate Herron will be directing the series and Michael Waldron is the head writer.
- Joining Hiddleston in the series are Richard E. Grant, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Sophia Di Martino.
