The Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex in Florida has modified their safety guidelines regarding masks in accordance with the CDC, effective tomorrow.
What’s Happening:
- Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be updating guest safety guidelines in accordance with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
- Beginning Monday, May 17, 2021, guests who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will no longer be required to wear face coverings while outdoors. All guests, including those who have been fully vaccinated, will still be required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations. Indoor locations include all attractions, attraction queues, show viewing areas, restaurants and bus transportation to the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Maintaining social distancing will still be required in all outdoor and indoor locations.
- The visitor complex will continue all precautionary measures including limited attendance, encouraging advance daily admission purchases and implementing increased frequency of sanitization and disinfection.
- Back in March, Kennedy Space Center reopened the bus tours to the Apollo/Saturn V Center after an extended closure due to the pandemic. The tours are available again and still fall within the new guidelines at this time, including the aforementioned mask requirements, and reservations must be made at the Kennedy Space Center with limited reservations available from a kiosk near the bus departure point.
