Disney+ Watch Guide June 18th – 24th

Summer officially begins on Disney+ with the premiere of Pixar’s Luca, which headlines this week’s Watch Guide. Of course, it’s followed by new episodes of currently running shows, including the finale of Big Shot and the third episode of Loki (on Wednesday). This week’s Library Highlights section has several big milestone anniversaries worth celebrating, including 60 years of The Parent Trap and 30 years of The Rocketeer. Hayley Mills starred opposite herself in this blockbuster Disney comedy, released on June 21st, 1961.

30th Anniversary – The Rocketeer

Dave Stevens’ comic books came to life on June 21st, 1991 with Disney’s big screen adaptation.

25th Anniversary – The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Walt Disney Animation Studios 34th animated feature was released on June 21st, 1996, an adaptation of the classic Victor Hugo novel with music by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz.

15th Anniversary – Leroy & Stitch
