Trying to soften the blow of the multitude of refurbishments that are happening at Disneyland Park, Disneyland has announced several limited-time experiences that try to make up for some of the loss.
While the Disneyland Railroad is temporarily closed for about a year, guests at the Main Street and New Orleans Square Train Stations will be able to get up-close with the historic steam engines that have circled Disneyland park for decades, learn about the trains from the engineers and take a picture with an engine. The engineers will share fun facts, details on how the engines operate, stories from the history of the Disneyland Railroad and more.
The Jungle Cruise may be closed but the skippers will still be present. They will be in front of the closed attraction to share their stories, adventures and humor.
The Disneyland Resort also revealed that other limited-time experiences including ones aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat and Sailing Ship Columbia will be announced at a future date.
