Countdown to Shanghai Disneyland: Resort Hotels

It’s official: my Shanghai Disneyland trip is now booked! As you may have heard or experienced if you were trying to buy tickets on Sunday (Monday in Shanghai), there were some website issues that gave me and presumably many others massive anxiety about whether or not we would actually be getting attend the opening of Disney’s latest theme park. Luckily, after a few hours, the problems were resolved and I was able to secure a 2-Day ticket to the park and an opening night room at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel.

Since rooms can now be booked, it seems like a good time to look at what each of the Shanghai Disney Resort hotels has to offer:

Shanghai Disneyland Hotel

Prices: Starting at 1650 CNY ($255) + service charge. My opening night Garden View room was 2650 CNY ($410) for three people + 397.50 CNY ($61) service charge.

Deluxe Rooms

Club Level Rooms

Lumiére’s Kitchen

Toy Story Hotel

The Launchpad: “Have a blast at our way-cool space-themed water play area! Located in the Woody Courtyard, it’s a wet and wild experience exclusively for Toy Story Hotel Guests.”

The Play Room: “Round up your posse, alert Star Command and head for an awesome play place inspired by the magic of Toy Story. Kids ages 2-12 can get in on the fun with incredible toys, slides and play equipment that are right out of a scene from the Disney·Pixar films.”
