With the first of Walt Disney World’s much talked about After Hours events taking place tomorrow, Thursday, April 14th, it now seems that some Disney Vacation Club members have been invited to attend the event for free. The After Hours events, which allow guests to enter the park as early as 7 p.m. and stay for an additional three hours after closing, have been selling for $149.
According to a post on DISboards some DVC members were alerted that they could sign up to attend the event for free. However, space was limited and it seems that all the DVC spots have since been filled.
It is unclear how the DVC members were selected to receive this offer but it stands to reason that it was sent to those who currently have vacations booked in Walt Disney World this week. There is also no word on whether similar offers will be extended to members for future After Hours dates.
Disney After Hours events are currently scheduled for April 21 and 28 as well as May 5, 8, 12, and 19. Each $149 ticket also includes bottled beverages and ice cream novelties. Tickets can still be purchased online or by calling 407-827-7185.
