ESPN’s Mike Tirico is leaving ESPN for NBC according to Sports Business Daily. Tirico, who calls Monday Night Football, the NBA, and other sports for the worldwide leader has been there since 1991.
There is no word what Tirico will be doing for NBC where Al Michaels calls Sunday Night Football and Bob Costas leads other high-profile events such as the Olympics.
Neither network would could comment on the story. There is no word who would replace Mike Tirico at ESPN.
