ESPN “30 for 30: Once Upon a Time in Queens” Premieres on ESPN September 14

ESPN has announced the next 30 for 30 documentary coming to the network based on the 1986 Mets season.

What’s Happening:

ESPN has announced the latest 30 for 30 documentary, Once Upon a Time in Queens, chronicling the 1986 Mets season.

Once Upon a Time in Queens will go back to the 1970s when the Mets were struggling, and how they rose to a powerful force in baseball during the 1980s.
The documentary will feature interviews with players from the World Series winning team including Keith Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Mookie Wilson, Lenny Dykstra, Kevin Mitchell, and more.
It is executive produced by Jimmy Kimmel, Sal “Cousin Sal” Iacono, Kimmelot’s Scott Lonker, ITV America’s David George and MLB’s Nick Trotta.
You can catch ESPN’s 30 for 30: Once Upon a Time in Queens, on September 14 (Parts 1-2) and September 15 (Parts 3-4) starting at 8:00 pm ET.
Each part will be available to stream on ESPN+ following its debut.
