With the Town Center recently opening at Disney Springs, there are many new outlets to explore. If the opening day lineup wasn’t enough, recently Lilly Pulitzer and TROPHY ROOM opened their doors for the first time.
Lilly Pulitzer features colorful women’s resort clothing, beach dresses, outfits, and accessories inspired by the Palm Beach lifestyle. It is the current incarnation of the brand launched by Pulitzer who created designs on bright colorful cotton that hid the stains from working at her Florida juice stand. She went on to dress such socialites as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Caroline Kennedy, and members of the Rockefeller, Vanderbilt and Whitney families.
TROPHY ROOM features high-end sneakers and exclusive merchandise. This location was founded by Marcus Jordan, a University of Central Florida graduate who was inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of Walt Disney. He also happens to be the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan. Marcus was inspired by his father’s personal trophy room and created the new retail concept.
