Today, Support Our Anaheim Resort (S.O.A.R.) PAC endorsed Steve Faessel for Anaheim City Council, District 5.
“Steve Faessel has resided in Anaheim his entire life and dedicated himself to bettering the quality of life of residents. His longstanding commitment to Anaheim is commendable and S.O.A.R. PAC is proud to support Steve in his election to the Anaheim City Council,” said Jill Kanzler.
Steve Faessel will be seeking election in the newly formed Council District 5 which includes landmarks like Angels Stadium, the Honda Center, the Platinum Triangle District and the Anaheim Canyon Business Center. Steve is the current Chair of the Anaheim Budget, Investment and Technology Commission and Anaheim Director to the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. He has a long history of leadership in Anaheim, including having served on the Anaheim Public Utilities Board, the Anaheim General Plan Advisory Committee, and the Anaheim Planning Commission. Over the years, Steve championed efforts that have enhanced the quality of life for our neighborhoods. Most importantly, leading the opposition to place an intrusive power plant in the heart of the District 5 neighborhood.

Steve is committed to neighborhoods and city services and he understands the proven advantages of economic development and the Anaheim Resort District.
