It has been reported that Lynne Hale, vice president of publicity and communications at Lucasfilm, will be retiring at the end of 2021.

What’s Happening:
- The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Lynne Hale will not be returning to Lucasfilm, retiring from the company at the end of 2021 after a 35 year career.
- Hale had joined Lucasfilm in 1986 and helped with the publicity strategy for the Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition in 1997, and leading the campaigns for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 1999, Attack of the Clones in 2002, and Revenge of the Sith in 2005.
- Hale also helped with the publicity strategy for the Star Tours attraction that can be found at Disney Parks, and campaigns for The Force Awakens in 2015, Rogue One in 2016, The Last Jedi in 2017, Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018, and The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian in 2019.
