The only thing truly more exciting than having the opportunity to visit the Walt Disney World resort is the ability to return regularly and yet to still find new immersive experiences and attractions with each visit. This fall, Walt Disney World will not disappoint as it sets out to add even more incredible experiences coming to the parks, and are certainly not to be missed. Today, we’ll be taking a look at some of the newest experiences that are coming to the Walt Disney World this fall, and everything you need to know about these new additions.
The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History Debuts at Magic Kingdom
One of the most exciting additions coming to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall is the upcoming Muppet live performance, The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History. The show is set to debut in mid-October near The Hall of Presidents located in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. The show was first announced by the official Disney Parks Blog and describes the show as a live-performance featuring Muppets Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie and Gonzo as they thwart the plans of Sam the Eagle who is trying to put on a sophisticated performance to pay tribute to American history. The show will feature an original song, and The Muppets will continue to make appearances throughout the day interacting with guests. This is an experience truly not to be missed.
The Muppets Continue Their Expansion at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Muppet fun this fall certainly doesn’t stop at the Magic Kingdom, and way over at the home of The Muppets’ long-running attraction, Muppet-Vision 3D in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney is expanding the Muppet presence in the area to expand the Muppet mini-land larger than ever before. Included in this expansion is the upcoming PizzeRizzo restaurant which will open in the former home of Pizza Planet across from Muppet Vision in the Muppet Courtyard. On the other side of PizzeRizzo, Disney is apparently in the midst of building Muppet-themed restrooms, in the style of the Tangled restrooms in Fantasyland, as signs teasing “Gonzo’s Royal Flush” have popped up within the past few weeks. PizzeRizzo is set to open to the public this November with more Muppet experiences expected to follow.
