The recently opened Shanghai Disneyland Resort is set to offer their first ever season pass, but its term and sale are still very different from what U.S. park fans are used to. For one, the new pass will only be one sale for one day, November 11th, which is known as Singles Day in China — the biggest shopping day of the year. Additionally, the pass is not for a year’s access to the park but instead allows for entry on select days between November 11th, 2016 and March 31st, 2017. The pass will be available on Alltrip for ¥1,111 (for 11/11), which is about $164 USD.
Guests can reserve their pass by making a deposit beginning November 1, and then complete their purchase on November 11, only at the official Shanghai Disney Resort Alitrip Flagship Store. The exclusive new seasonal pass will be unavailable for use on the Chinese New Year period, and admission is subject to available park capacity each day
“In the brief time Shanghai Disneyland has been open, the response of our guests to the world-class attractions and entertainment has been overwhelming,” said Philippe Gas, general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. “Many of our guests tell us that Shanghai Disneyland is a multiday experience for them and our new limited-time seasonal pass offers our biggest fans the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in the unparalleled storytelling and creativity of Shanghai Disneyland with their family and friends again and again.”
