The Walt Disney Company has signed up to be a part of Hulu’s new live streaming service according to The Verge. As a result, ABC, ESPN, and likely other channels will join 21st Century Fox and Time Warner-owned stations which has also been announced for the service so far. Hulu says it’s eyeing a 2017 release date for their new live product, although it continues to work on deals with other channel owners, including CBS and NBC, as CEO Mike Hopkins promises there will be “additional partners to come.”
