During tonight’s Disney Parks Blog livestream, which saw the iconic Spaceship Earth transforming into the Death Star, it was announced that experiences inspired by the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition to the props from the film that have come to the Star Wars Launch Bay, starting December 16th, the AWR (Advanced Weapons Research) Troopers can be spotted in Star Wars: A Galaxy Far Far Away. Speaking of December 16th — which just so happens to be the release date for a certain, notable film — the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will return, playing as a double feature of sorts with Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM through December 31st.
But that’s not all — Disney Creative Entertainment’s Michael Roddy also announced that a special Star Wars themed tour will be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The seven hour tour promises to incorporate all things Star Wars, including a ride on Star Tours, a guided exploration of Star Wars Launch Bay, a quick-service dinner featuring Star Wars-themed items, a Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular dessert party, and more.
Lastly, it was announced that Star Tours will go back to its randomized planet selection in the coming weeks. So are you excited for more Star Wars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
