A quarterly report presented to the state by theme parks detailing injuries has revealed that a man died after riding Magic Kingdom’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad earlier this year. As the Orlando Sentinel notes, the 54-year-old man had an existing condition before riding the attraction in February and, some time after exiting the ride, collapsed. He later passed away while at the hospital.
Other injuries detailed in the report, which spans from January to March of this year, include 72-year-old woman hitting her head on Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, a 74-year-old woman falling and fracturing her leg her while loading onto Frozen Ever After, and an 89-year-old woman who experienced chest pain and numbness after riding Soarin’ Around the World.
