ABC Radio and Spotify announced today that they are collaborating on the production of “Brilliant Minds,” a podcast named after the annual event led by Natalia Brzezinski. Brzezinski serves as the CEO of Symposium Stockholm, Brilliant Minds— a thought leadership symposium which will focus on the relationship between humanity and technology, gathering those at the forefront of this issue from around the world. Additionally, Spotify will now distribute ABC Radio podcasts on their platform.
Rebecca Jarvis, ABC News Chief Business, Technology and Economics Correspondent and host of the “No Limits” podcast, will co-host a special series of eight “Brilliant Minds” podcasts along with Brzezinski. These episodes will feature interviews with speakers from the Brilliant Minds event including, Usher, Rashida Jones and Chris Sacca. Jarvis will also report from the Brilliant Minds event in Stockholm for ABC News platforms as she conducts a series of exclusive interviews with disruptors, innovators and artists. This year’s Brilliant Minds event occurs June 8-9 in Stockholm, Sweden.
The first episode of the special series will be available June 8 on Spotify.
In addition, ABC Radio podcasts hosted by ABC News anchors, correspondents and contributors will now be available on Spotify. The non-exclusive agreement will provide Spotify listeners access to ABC Radio’s award-winning content and will amplify the audio reach of ABC to include Spotify’s growing and highly desired audience.
