Maleficent
Just over a year ago, Disney announced several projects under development, including a sequel to 2014’s Maleficent. While no release date was given, the project was listed along with Cruella, Dumbo, and A Wrinkle in Time as projects that will be part of Disney’s future slate.
However, film star Angelina Jolie seems to not be interested in returning to the big screen. In the interview with Vanity Fair Jolie said that she doesn’t have any plans to embark on any more film projects. “I’m just wanting to make the proper breakfast and keep the house. That’s my passion.”
It is unknown if this might just be a short-term delay or that the project will never see the light of day. Despite this announcment, Jolie’s First They Killed My Father will be debuting on Netflix this month as the project had been gestating for some time.
Maleficent made over $750 million at the box office.
