Famed voice actress June Foray, who worked on many legendary cartoons and films, has passed away at age 99. As Variety reports, her friend Dave Nimitz confirmed the sad news on Facebook, saying “With a heavy heart again I want to let you all know that we lost our little June today at 99 years old.” Some of Foray’s best-known credits including voicing both Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha Fatale on The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Granny on various Looney Toons projects. Of course, she also holds a number of Disney credits, including Lucifer in Cinderella, Wheezy in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Grandmother Fa in Mulan. Foray is also remembered for spearheading the annual Annie Awards, which honor talents across the field of animation.
