Jay Thomas
Actor Jay Thomas has died at the age of 69 due to cancer. While he had a long career in a variety of roles, he had many Disney credits. He played the Easter Bunny in the second and third Santa Clause films as well as Bill Meister in Mr. Holland’s Opus and Zim Zimmerman in Straight Talk.
Hi voice roles included Barry Anger in Teacher’s Pet and Ares in the Hercules series. On television he was Charles Fletcher in My Date with the President’s Daughter, the Delivery Man in telefilm Justin Case and Sy Furbis in an episode of Golden Girls.
He is survived by wife Sally, and sons Sam, Max and J.T.
