- ABC News has announced the exclusive, first television interview with President Joe Biden following the presidential debate last week.
- The president will sit down on the campaign trail Friday with Good Morning America co-anchor and This Week anchor George Stephanopoulos.
- The full interview was original scheduled to air on Sunday, July 7th, on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, with a preview on Friday, July 5th, during World News Tonight with David Muir.
- On July 3rd, ABC News changed its broadcast plans, now airing the full interview on Friday, July 5th, at 8/7c as a primetime event.
- Advance clips from the interview will still be played in the July 5th episode of World News Tonight with David Muir, and the interview will also air in it’s entirety in the July 7th episode of This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
- Portions of the interview will be included in the Saturday and Sunday weekend editions of Good Morning America, and the extended interview will be featured in the Monday, July 8th, episode.
