Disney California Adventure is getting guests excited for the premiere of Moana 2 this holiday season with a new pre-show to World of Color – Season of Light, titled “Boat Snack.”
What’s Happening:
- A special new Moana 2 pre-show entitled “Boat Snack” debuted in front of World of Color – Season of Light last night, alongside the holiday show’s annual return to Disney California Adventure.
- The pre-show utilizes the much hyped song from the upcoming sequel, “Beyond.”
- Previous World of Color pre-shows have included ones themed to Pixar’s Inside Out 2, Elemental, and Disney’s Wish. A pre-show entitled “Hurry Home” also plays with World of Color during Disney California Adventure’s annual Lunar New Year Celebration.
- Speaking of World of Color – Season of Light, check out the first performance of the show for the 2024 holiday season in the video below.
- See beloved moments from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios films illuminate a towering wall of water and mist as hundreds of sky-high fountains dance in time to festive music as shimmering snowflakes fill the scene.
- World of Color – Season of Light weaves classic films like Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story and Fantasia with contemporary hits like Frozen and Inside Out, bringing stories of friendship, family and love to life, all woven brilliantly and beautifully to cherished holiday songs.
- World of Color – Season of Light runs daily through the end of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort on January 6th, 2025.

- Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers.
