Concept art, the name and details regarding the new Disney Vacation Club lounge coming to Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom have been announced.
What’s Happening:
- Back in June, the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade closed to make way for a new Disney Vacation Club lounge.
- Now, we have more details and new concept art for the lounge, which is set to be called McKim’s Mile House.
- The name likely serves as a reference to Disney Legend Sam McKim, who prior to working on a number of early Disneyland attractions, was an actor in many western films.
- Featuring rustic charm inspired by the adventurous spirit of exploration of a bygone era, the lounge will offer a cozy and convenient retreat for members to share stories and recharge during their day of fun.
- As with other similar DVC lounges, McKim’s Mile House will feature:
- Comfortable seating
- Complimentary soft drinks
- A children's entertainment area
- Wi-Fi
- Charging cords available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis
- McKim’s Mile House is set to open in Summer 2025 at the Magic Kingdom. Admission details can be found at DisneyVacationClub.com.
