With Walt Disney World pretty much out of harms way and the tornado threat moving towards the Panhandle and then of course whatever is going to happen with New Orleans – I am late today because I have been helping out on the weather front for some past employers so for that I apologize.
What an interesting storm Isaac has turned out to be. Massive … and because of this the circulation has been unable to fully wrap itself up which is good news because it has translated into a much weaker storm for impending landfall. That said as it slows forward speed the rain effects could become even more of a problem along the coastline.
For WDW – showers will linger into today but the sun should make a triumphant appearance in a big way the rest of the week. That said expect afternoon thunderstorms each and every day with highs in the low 90s (yes – it still feels like the surface of the sun). That said I’ve been seeing the beginnings of cooler air pushing down towards the north … so tis only a matter of time vacationers (let’s just hope it gets here in time for the Tower of Terror race)!
