Start Times Set for New Year's Six Bowl Games, Part of College Football Playoff System

ESPN will reclaim New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day for college football when it exclusively televises all six bowl games under the new College Football Playoff rotation system including the two College Football Playoff Semifinals.

Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 12:30 p.m. ET, ESPN will televise the first of the ‘New Year’s Six’ bowl games with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. At 4 p.m., fans will see the Fiesta Bowl followed by the Orange Bowl at 8 p.m.

ESPN will jumpstart New Year’s Day with the Cotton Bowl at 12:30 p.m. Then, the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual will be aired at 5 p.m. followed by the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl at 8:30 p.m. Additional programming surrounding all the bowls will be announced at a later date.
