Welcome back to our annual Mouse Madness tournament! This year, our champion will take home the title of best film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe…so far. We’re looking at 16 of the 18 films (sorry Hulk and Spidey) to determine which story is better than the rest.
This match up almost called for overtime. The closest battle by far, Captain America: Civil War wins the match with 1 vote. Will he be able to beat Iron Man in Round 3? Keep voting and see what happens.
Why Thor should win: Thor may be a god, but that doesn’t mean he’s perfect. Marvel’s characters are flawed, and audiences can relate to the personal development even if the superpowers are just a bit out of reach. We have interesting and fun sibling conflict between Thor and Loki, S.H.I.E.L.D. has found Mjolnir, Hawkeye and Fury cameo, and that rainbow bridge is something else.
Why Ragnarok should win: Thor’s evolution as a character has him at his best in this film. We also get to enjoy an incredible supporting cast: we have an excellent villain in Hela, Loki’s back to help and harm, Valkyrie has some serious skills, Hulk does his thing, Korg wants to start a revolution, the Grandmaster, Heimdall…
Who do you think should advance to the next round? Vote now:
Be sure to come back tomorrow as we reveal the winner of today’s poll and continue onward through our bracket to crown the best film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe champion!
