The Disney Junior Dance Party is currently on a nationwide tour, bringing ever preschooler’s favorite Disney Junior characters to a theater near you where they can sing, clap, and dance along. To celebrate, Walt Disney Records has released Disney Junior Music Dance Party! The Album so kids can take the music from the show wherever they go. If they love all of the shows on Disney Junior, they’re going to want to listen to every track over and over.
The album kicks off with a brand new track from Beau Black and Alex Cartana called “A Disney Junior Party.” It’s insanely catchy, an earworm of a song that won’t leave you. This isn’t the only brand new song on the album as it also ends with “The Power of All of Us,” where all of the characters get a chance to sing in this send-off ballad. It’s a bit odd hearing Mickey Mouse sing in harmony with Sofia the First, but it’s the ultimate Disney Junior collaboration and the song is reminiscent of something you would hear at a Magic Kingdom castle show.
The album 22 songs from the following Disney Junior shows: Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sofia the First, Puppy Dog Pals, Vampirina, The Lion Guard, Doc McStuffins, Elena of Avalor, and Muppet Babies. Each of series is represented by between two and three songs on the album, including their theme song. Some of the tracks are also mash-ups, such as “Here Comes the Lion Guard/Zuka Zama” and “Elena of Avalor/My Time,” where two songs blend together into one with unique transitions.
Most of the songs on this album should be recognizable to kids who watch a lot of Disney Junior. Every track is uptempo and fun, giving them a chance to sing and dance along. Whether you’re catching Disney Junior Dance Party on tour or not, you can have your own dance party with Disney Junior Music Dance Party! The Album.
