Last week, ESPN debuted its new streaming service ESPN+. Today the network announced another exclusive series for the platform: the NFL-themed Draft Academy. The eight-episode series featuring top prospects in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft. Among them is University of Central Florida star Shaquem Griffin, who appeared with his team at Walt Disney World earlier this year. Other athletes featured include Sam Darnold (USC), Josh Allen (Wyoming), Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama), Equanimeous St. Brown (Notre Dame), and Kyle Allen (Houston). The first four episodes of Draft Academy are now available on ESPN+ with additional episodes premiering each Thursday through May 3.
“Draft Academy brings fans closer to some of the biggest names and best stories in the upcoming NFL Draft and serves as a complement to all that ESPN is doing across our linear networks,” said Connor Schell, Executive Vice President, Content, ESPN. “The show is a prime example of the high-quality, relevant original content fans will have access to on demand on ESPN+.”
