ABC News will broadcast President Barack Obama‘s State of the Union address with coverage led by ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos live from Washington, D.C. Following the address, ABC will carry the Republican response. Network coverage begins on Tuesday, January 20 at 9:00 p.m., ET on ABC.
World News Tonight Anchor David Muir will broadcast the evening news program from Capitol Hill and report throughout the night on major topics before and after the State of the Union address and Republican response.
The ABC News political team including Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl and Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz with report on the latest news and developments with analysis by ABC News Political Analyst Cokie Roberts and Contributors Matthew Dowd, Nicolle Wallaceand Donna Brazile.
At 12:35 P.M. ET Nightline will feature the highlights from the address. The next morning Stephanopoulos will anchor Good Morning America from D.C., covering the main points from the address and GOP response.
