Celebrate Star Wars Day with us as we look at some of the celebrations occurring across the country. Celebrate Star Wars you will…. and of course May the Fourth Be With You.
1201 am: Disney has released the full trailer of Star Wars Rebels. Starring a small band of heroes — Sabine, Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Zeb, and Chopper — Star Wars Rebels is set in a time where the Empire rules through fear and shrouds the galaxy in darkness. This trailer offers many new glimpses at sequences from the show, including the starship Ghost chased by TIE Fighters; young Ezra watching as a Star Destroyer looms overhead; Stormtroopers marching; a zero-g fight between our heroes and Imperials; and Kanan, a secret Jedi, assembling his lightsaber and preparing for battle. It ends, however, with an Imperial officer reporting to the Inquisitor — the Empire’s Jedi hunter, seen and heard here for the first time.
Star Wars Rebels takes place between Star Wars: Episode III and IV as the Empire tightens its grip on the galaxy and a rebellion begins to form. The series, executive produced by Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman, is scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel and will be followed by a series on Disney XD.

906 am: YouTube Nation features a video of what Star Wars would be like if you based it off of Star Wars parody videos.
925 am: Disney Store is getting in on the fun with this neat 13 1/2 inch Stormtrooper figure. “Assemble your Imperial Army one clone at a time! This talking Stormtrooper comes equipped with a light-up blaster, classic white wear, and an array of famous phrases to strike fear in the hearts of your enemies”
929 am: Disney’s Hollywood Studios premiered their new Star Wars themed breakfast today. It will run through Star Wars Weekends. It includes character meet and greets as well as special Star Wars video clips. One neat surprise is that one of the featured clips is the first the first appearance of Boba Fett from the rarely seen Star Wars Holiday Special. 1121 am: Star Wars: Episode VII creative leaders J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan shared a special greeting from the London set. Interestingly, they mention that casting announcements have begun, indicating more casting announcements are to come.
1125 am: Disney’s Hollywood Studios is selling May the Fourth and Revenge of the Fifth merchandise at the Soundstage 1 lobby.
1129 am: D23 held a special meet up where members were invited to ride Star Tours twice in a row!
1145 am: Amazon is offering several Star Wars items for sale including Lightning Deals.
1149 am: Even Bob Iger is getting in on the Star Wars Day fun. He took a selfie with Chewbacca.
251 pm: The Disney Store held a Jedi training for young guests. Gideon enjoyed being a Padawan learner.
559 pm: Lucasfilm, Disney Consumer Products, and Neff held a Star Wars Legion exhibition. Artists from across The Walt Disney Company including Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic, Marvel, and Pixar — as well as select street artists chosen by Neff, and celebrity Star Wars fans — have volunteered to create individualized interpretations of the iconic Stormtrooper helmet in celebration of Star Wars Day.
