Disney has announced Meridia, the heroine from the upcoming Disney / Pixar film Brave, will begin making appearances at Disney parks starting in mid-May. At Disneyland she will appear near “it’s a small world” in a setting reminiscent of her Scottish Highlands home. In addition to meeting Merida, guests will be able to engage in archery lessons and other activities inspired by the film. The three bear cups from the film will also be there. At the Magic Kingdom Merida and the cubs will be in Fairytale Garden with similar activities. To prepare for Merida, Fairytale Garden will close on April 15th and Rapunzel, who appears there now, will move to the Adventureland Veranda and be rejoined by Flynn Rider. Ariel and Prince Eric, who are currently at the Adventureland Veranda, will move to the glass gazebo alongside the Adventureland Veranda near Swiss Family Treehouse.
