Disney has announced that Jock Lindsey’s Hanger Bar will be joining the lineup of Downtown Disney in The Landing section. The new location, in the soon to be renamed Disney Springs, is located between the soon-to-be-expanded Paradiso 37 and the recently opened BOATHOUSE restaurant.
The new location will be Disney owned and operated. It will feature seating for 150 and signature cocktails such as the “Hovito Mojito” with Barsol Quebranta Pisco, fresh lime juice and simple syrup. There will also be a small plates menu featuring items such as the “Air Pirates Everything Pretzels” with house-made mustard and beer cheese fondue.
According to the Indiana Jones Wiki: Jock Lindsey was an American freelance pilot. Lindsey cut his teeth as a stunt pilot performing in Midwest airshows and relocated to Venezuela after a rumored flight-related tragedy. He frequently was hired by Indiana Jones to fly the archaeologist to remote parts of the world. Easygoing and affable, Lindsey notably butted heads with Jones on one subject: his pet snake, Reggie.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is set to open this fall at Downtown Disney.
