Walt Disney World Resort will begin offering a dedicated bus service to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon from resort hotels. The new service will being on Sunday, March 17th.
What’s happening:
- Walt Disney World transportation will now offer a dedicated bus service to Disney’s two water parks.
- Based on guest feedback, the Resort will begin offering a dedicated bus service from resort hotels to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
- The new service will be offered starting on Sunday, March 17th.
- Disney says, “We strive to listen to our guests’ feedback and make adjustments that will fit their needs and preferences. We have learned our guests would prefer a more direct bus service to our water parks. As a result, transportation service to our water parks will adjust to a new dedicated bus service.”
Dedicated service to water parks:
- Guests will now board either the “Typhoon Lagoon” bus or “Blizzard Beach” bus to reach their desired water park.
- Some resorts will have a bundled service, where a bus will make multiple stops prior to their destination:
- Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian
- Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club, BoardWalk
- Jambo House, Kidani Village
- All-Star Sports, All-Star Music, All-Star Movies
- Pop Century, Art of Animation
- Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge
- Some of resort guests must depart from a designated bus stop to board a water park bus.
- Caribbean Beach: Old Port Royale
- Coronado Springs: El Centro/Stop #1
- Old Key West: Hospitality House
- Port Orleans: South bus depot
- Saratoga Springs (including Treehouse Villas): The Springs bus stop
- Guests may use the My Disney Experience app to track bus arrivals and routes across property.

- Guests wishing to transfer from a theme park to a water park will need to board a bus to the closest resort, and transfer to a water park bus.
- Where can I find water park transportation information?
- The My Disney Experience app provides directions to both of our water parks.
