During the Walt Disney Company’s Investor Day event, several Marvel series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe were confirmed for Disney+.
- Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige took the stage during the event to confirm several long-rumored Marvel series for Disney+.
- Among those series is Falcon and Winter Soldier, which will star Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, reprising their roles from multiple MCU films.
- Feige also confirmed a series based on Loki, the god of mischief and wildly popular villain of the MCU.
- We also got the official name of the Scarlet Witch and Vision-based series, which is now officially titled WandaVision.
- Feige also explained that these series will feature big storylines and have major ramifications in the MCU.
- He also said explained that the landscape of the MCU is about to change, saying “a post Endgame MCU will be very different and will be directly tied to Disney+.”
- Feige went on to confirm Marvel Studios’ first animated project, What If?
- The new animated series will explore MCU storylines and explain how they could have played out differently.
- Some of the MCU actors will voice the animated versions of their characters in the new series.
- Before they make their way to the new streaming service, the Avengers will need to undo the snap when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26.
