So I saw Ratatouille(pronounced: Cha-Ching) on Saturday and I thought I would share my thoughts. I am not a movie reviewer so I am not going to post a review. But instead I will share my feelings on the film. I expected this film to be my least favorite Pixar film. John and the gang were always talking about how important it is to have the original concept creator involved in the film making process when Disney was considering making Toy Story 3 without Pixar involvment. So when Brad Bird took over from Jan Pinkava, my expectations were lowered. Could Brad care about this film the same way he cared about his own creations? Apparently if he did or did not didn't matter because it is a great film.
It is not my favorite Pixar film, it is probably right below Cars, but it is quite good. Time will tell how the movie will do at the box office, but if there is any justice, it will do very well.
The traditional Pixar pre-film short, Lifted, was FANTASTIC! I laughed, I cried, I will name my first born after it. Another memorable moment of the film was John Ratzenberger doing a french accent.
Anyway, I will give more thoughts when the movie comes out since I don't want to give too much away, but I hope everyone sees it and enjoys it!
