Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed for an extended refurbishment starting this fall.
What’s happening:
- This year during Blizzard Beach’s annual refurbishment, the water park will undergo additional work and enhancements.
- This additional refurbishment will mean longer than normal down time for the water park than previous years.
- Blizzard Beach is scheduled to close for refurbishment on September 8, 2019.
- The water park will reopen in early 2020.
