- Iger announced that users will be able to sign up for a bundle of Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu, upon the launch of the new streaming service, for just $12.99 a month.
- Hulu, when subscribed to through this bundle, will include ads.
- The monthly subscription cost of Disney+ on its own was already set at $6.99.
- Monthly subscriptions to Hulu start at $5.99 while ESPN+ subscriptions start at $4.99.
- All of this adds up to about a $5 discount per month when subscribing to the bundle as opposed to all three services individually.
- Iger also shared some news regarding the content that will be found on Disney+.
- The CEO announced that popular films Home Alone, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Night at the Museum, are expected to be “reimagined” for Disney+.
- There were no further details shared on exactly what this means or when these “reimagined” films would be available.
- Additionally, as announced last week, D23 Expo 2019 attendees and D23 members will get an exclusive subscription offer for Disney+ during the expo.
